The LG Ally is a new Android-powered smartphone packed for Verizon Wireless which comes with slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The device os powered by the Android 2.1 operating system with deep integration of Google services and access to thousands of apps via Android Market. Featuring five customizable home screens with shortcuts to text messages, e-mail, apps, favorite social networking sites and widgets.

The Verizon’s LG Ally features include a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution at 262K color depth, featuring touch vibration for tactile feedback, a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, S-GPS and aGPS support, 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera and camcorder capabilities with flash, Wi-Fi networking (802.11b/g), Bluetooth (version 2.1) with A2DP, and also microSD card slot with expansion up to 16 GB (4 GB card included).

Other features of LG Ally Android phone includes personal and corporate e-mail with Push Gmail and Exchange support, Real HTML Web browsing (Android Webkit HTML5-based browser), Airplane mode, speakerphone, TTY compatible, Hearing Aid Compatibility = M4/T3, and 1500 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 7.5 hours (450 minutes) of talk time, and up to 500 hours (20.8 days) of standby time.

The LG Ally Android phone measures 4.56 x 2.22 x 0.62 inches and weighs 5.57 ounces. It runs on the CDMA 800/1900 frequencies as well as EV–DO, Rev A 3G frequencies.
