Upcoming ZTE Mercury, Blade, and Racer. ZTE’s Android Phones
There were more unannounced ZTE’s Android smartphone and they were showcased by ZTE during MWC 2010. These smartphone were ZTE Mercury, Blade, and Racer. The Mercury looks like the HTC Hero. The Mercury smartphone works on only GSM / EDGE connectivity, this handset does not has 3G / UMTS. It features 3.2-inch full touchscreen display with resolution of 320 x 480 pixel, Bluetooth v2.0, WAP 2.0, A-GPS and 3.5 mm headphone jack. This mobile phone is running on Google Android OS, it might be Donut a.k.a 1.6 version.
And, the second phone is ZTE Blade smartphone. It seems to be a high-end smartphone. The Blade is also running on Android 1.6 mobile operating system. This touchscreen handset features a 3.5-inch OLED WVGA (480 x 800 pixel resolution) capacitive touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth version 2.0, compass, FM radio and GSM / EDGE / UMTS / GPRS connectivity.
The other unannounced ZTE’s smartphone is the Racer, this handset runs Android 1.6 Donut, and features a 2.8 inches TFT QVGA touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixel resolution at 65K colors, 3G (UMTS), compass, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, FM radio, Bluetooth v.2, accelerometer, light sensor and proximity sensor.
Still no words on pricing all these three cell phones at the moment. But, we can see from each handset features that these 3 smartphones have different target market. From the low end class to the higher end class. Source: mobile-review.com
