T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide, Black and White, With No Contract

Last week I posted a myTouch 3G Slide in red version, and now I post the other colors of this new smartphone, black and white. Anyway, the black and white is same with the red version. The handset has a 3.4-inch touch screen display with 480 x 320 pixel resolution and support 262K colors. In addition to the virtual keyboard, this smartphone also has a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard that will makes typing longer messages a breeze, and there is also a customizable and intuitive five-pane home screen with selection up to 7 panes.

Other features of T-Mobile HTC myTouch 3G Slide include a 5MP camera with video capture capabilities and LED flash, GPS, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP (enabling you to wirelessly stream your music to a pair of compatible Bluetooth stereo headphones or speaker dock, microSD card support (expandable up to 32 GB, 8GB card included), digital audio player and YouTube app for streaming video over 3G and Wi-Fi connections.

The myTouch 3G Slide weighs 5.9 ounces and measures 2.3 x 4.5 x 0.6 inches. The smartphone works on the 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequencies, as well as T-Mobile’s 3G network (1700/2100 MHz). Its 1300 mAh lithium-ion battery rates up to 4 hours of talk time, and up to 6 days of standby time.

The phone also support for IM (Google Talk, AOL, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger), Text Message (SMS), and also picture/video (MMS) messaging. The price of these both white or black myTouch 3G Slide is around $469.99 without new contract on T-Mobile USA service plan.

I have been using an iPhone for 2 years and when I got this phone, It changed how I thought about mobile computing.

Android is not a toy product. It’s massively customizable and you may need to have a little geek in you to like it. The keyboard is nice but will take some getting used to. Even though I have never had a slider phone before, it seems a bit wooboly.

Overall, I your not looking for the next superphone and just use it for basic apps, this phone should be perfect for you.
