The Samsung i8520 Galaxy Beam is a new upcoming Android smartphone from Samsung. This mobile handset is featuring a projector capabilities. The Galaxy cell phone series was announced at the same time with another smartphone like Samsung Omnia Pro 4 and Omnia Pro 5 in Singapore at the CommunicAsia 2010.
The Galaxy i8520 Beam will runs on Android 2.1 (Eclair) mobile operating system. This Samsung cell phone features 3.7 inch touchscreen WVGA Super AMOLED display with onscreen virtual full QWERTY keyboard. As its name, this handset is integrated with Beam projector.
This Android smartphone will come featured with 8-megapixel camera with autofocus on the rear. Its camera capable to capture video up to HD 720p recording. There is also Bluetooth connectivty with A2DP. While Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n networking is very useful for free internet access while on the go through WiFi hotspot. And GPS for navigation can be integrated with some apps on the Android like Google Maps, it also support A-GPS.
