HTC Desire HD, the EVO 4G for Europe and Asia Market

Yeah, finally the HTC Desire HD has been officially unveiled by HTC as the new flagship Android smartphone. This smartphone may be an update of the HTC EVO 4G which is sold for US market via Sprint. But, the EVO 4G is running on CDMA EV-DO networks, while the Desire HD works in GSM and UMTS/HSPA networks.

The specifications of HTC Desire HD includes a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution (WVGA), 8MP camera with autofocus and dual LED flash, capabilities to record 720p HD video (1280 x 720 pixels), front camera for video calling, MicroSD card slot, accelerometer, MicroUSB port, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, and GPS.

In the quality of sound, the manufacturer has made improvement to bring Dolby Mobile and SRS virtual sound. The smartphone is made of a solid block of aluminum chassis. The HTC Desire HD is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8255 processor and runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS with HTC Sense UI. The smartphone will start on sale in October 2010 in Europe and Asia. While the price of Desire HD in still unknown at the moment. I hope so, I just want this smartphone. :-) Source Engadget
