Buy HTC Wildfire Android Phone for UK, Germany and other Europe Countries

Here is a good news for all of you in UK and Germany who are waiting for HTC Wildfire Android 2.1 smartphone. As I posted yesterday, I still did not know its price. But now, we can see the exact price of this new Android handset. OK, if you are in UK can directly buy HTC Wildfire (SIM Free) at Amazon UK with the price of £249.99, (update price on Sept, 2011. It’s only $170 now).

And for customer in Germany can buy the Wildfire smartphone with the price of around EUR 279 at Amazon DE. And for other Europe countries based customers can choose between Amazon UK and DE (Germany). Just read their own delivery policy.

I’ve had this phone for a few days now and the only downside here is the low resolution of the screen when viewing web pages (it is perfect everywhere else). Text when fully zoomed out is not sharp like the Desire and appears blurry, so whereas you can read most text when fully zoomed out on a Desire or Nexus One phone, the Wildfire requires you to zoom into a page to read it’s contents. Luckily HTC have some brilliant software that renders zoomed in text nice and crisply and will autofit it to the screen. Good Save for what could have made web browsing very fustrating. Otherwise web browsing works identically to the Desire with multitouch and pinch zooming.

Just to remember you that HTC Wildfire features include a 3.2 inch touchscreen display, 528MHz Qualcomm processor, 5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, MicroSD card support, HTC Sense UI, and a new app sharing widget, which lets users recommend Android applications by text message, email, or over social networks.
