All the reviews thus far seem to miss one really useful aspect of this phone and that is the side charging contacts. At the side of the keyboard on each side towards the bottom of the phone are chrome charging contacts which mean that you just drop the phone into a charging holster ( about £7 from Amazon) and the phone face changes to a clock while the phone charges. No messing with a cable which will eventually push the socket into the phone and certaaily no mesing with a 30 pin plug ( although on my Ipod touch this seems to fit into a Boze speaker dock without too much hassle if you’re careful).
The BB Torch does not have these ( as far as I can tell) nor does the new BB 9900.
For me the phone works like new ( after 18 months) and it is hard to scratch. Difficult to know what to change it to.
