21 Android Applications Patterned as Malware, Removed from Android Market

Google has just pulled 21 popular applications from the Android Market. According to Google, the withdrawal was made because the application is patterned like malware.

Those applications has a purpose such as malware because it can access to the devices, collect data and download the code without the knowledge of Android device users.

Although Google has moved the applications from the Android Market, but it has approximately 50 thousand Android users who download the applications.

For example one Android application called ‘Chess’. The users will assume that this application is a chess game, but it’s not.

These applications are pirated versions of popular games. Once downloaded, the application can retrieve the user data and service providers, without the knowledge of the owner of device.
